The Gallery is a recently established coffee house and event space in the west end of Barry. Not only does the Gallery offer a relaxed, modern coffee shop space which makes the perfect co-working space but they also have a fully functional kitchen that caters for breakfast, lunch, weddings, buffets and so much more.

With the main coffee house down stairs, you'll also find a large traditional Georgian room upstairs with tall ceilings and sparkling chandeliers, a modern Italian style courtyard at the back, as well as meeting spaces in the flat above.

However, did you know that all profits from the coffee shop pays for vital support for individuals and families within the community with its direct link to CUBE?

CUBE is a not-for-profit community organisation, based out of the Gallery that provides advocacy and intervention programmes to the general public at no cost to them. Every time you order anything from the menu, whether it being a coffee, breakfast or booking a special event, the income goes towards providing community services.

This is what you need to know...

No membership costs

After careful thinking and speaking to local businesses, people have told us they don't want extra costs. They don't want the pressure of attending event or missing out on some based on the fact at they're paying membership fees. So, we said no. You pay to attend an event.

Not for profit

We're not out to make money from businesses. The Gallery and CUBE was set up to support the community, it's just until now, we've not directly been supporting the businesses community. The Gallery and Always Potential are local businesses and so we put our head together and came up with The Gallery Business Hub

Connection

Ultimately, businesses want and need to make money. This isn't a sales forum. It's a connection forum, where you can meet other likeminded individuals, connect, build trust and let business relationships take its course.

In-person

It's a small world these days. Building relationships nationally and internationally could be helpful, but sometimes we forget about the local connections. The Gallery Business Hub is an in-person networking space. Create confidence by speaking to new people, learn about each other's strengths and challenges, support each other.

Fortnightly

Once a week is too much, but once a month is too infrequent to get to know each other properly. Well, that's what we think anyway.

It's why our events will be fortnightly. There are no obligations.

It's going to be slow...but we hope it'll be worth it

We've had a number of enquiries so far, but we realise that it could be slow to begin. It's all about word of mouth and building to trust us to facilitate value-based events.

What will the cost be?

After speaking to local businesses, we've decided to minimise the costs, businessess don't need additional costs at the moment, therefore there are no membership costs. It will be a pay to attend.

Is this a membership business networking?

Not anymore. Initially we were going to partner with another organisation, but that would have meant a membership fee. We want people to come without worrying about the affordability and obligation of fees.

How often will events be, and where will I purchase tickets from?

Initially, we're planning fortnightly in-person gatherings, as we know the power of relationships grow the more we see and connect with each other. We will use Eventbrite to facilitate tickets.
